Diary Note - N3TC Drak Challenge - NOT FOR PUBLICATION

The 2021 edition of the N3TC Drak Challenge canoe marathon, in partnership with FNB, will take place in Underberg on the weekend of 30, 31 January 2021.

It will be the 28th running of the popular two day, 64km river marathon from Castleburn bridge to Early Mist Farm on the uMzimkhulu River in the Southern Drakensberg, one of the four anchor events of the FNB Drak Adventure Weekend.

The event organisers have in place a variety of planning options to ensure that the event can be run in full compliance with the lockdown regulations that might be in force at that time.

The race has been run as a K1 (single kayak) championship race since 2003, and will once again form the first leg of the International Canoe Federation's Classic Series.

Gameplan Media will provide a full pre-event build-up media service from early November and a comprehensive Event Media Service providing results, copy, hi-res images, video and audio on each day of the event.

Should you have any specific media requirements, please don't hesitate to contact the event media officer Dave Macleod at dave@gameplanmedia.co.za
