Durban Heat & Zeelo transporting fans into an exciting partnership

Durban – As the inaugural edition of the Mzansi Super League approaches, the Durban Heat and flexible shuttle service Zeelo have teamed up to create a more convenient fan experience for the tournament starting on 18 November.

The international service has taken off throughout the United Kingdom with Zeelo partnering up with a number of high profile sports franchises and events.

Closer to home, Zeelo and the Cell C Sharks have been in partnership throughout the 2018 Super Rugby campaign and the relationship thrived with many supporters using the service that collects and returns fans to various points around the greater Durban region.

The collection points include many major hubs, from Umhlanga to Chatsworth, Phoenix and Durban North.

"We are delighted to announce this exciting partnership for the upcoming Mzansi Super League," KZN Cricket CEO Heinrich Strydom said.

"To be able to offer fans an easier alternative to driving themselves to and from the match is a huge plus for us.

"It's a great idea and we have seen how successful it has been overseas and with The Sharks here in Durban."

The on-demand coach service is still in the growth phase in South Africa and with another partnership with a Durban-based team, Zeelo are placing a solid foot print in the KwaZulu-Natal sporting landscape.

"We are always looking for new opportunities and this was a great chance for us," General Manager of Zeelo South Africa James Champion mentioned.

"It's no secret that cricket needs some innovation to help get bums back on seats and we believe that our service can help in achieving that."
